Ysgol Gymraeg Brynsierfel look a picture in Welsh Costumes

St. David’s Day was a bit late for schools this year falling on a Sunday it meant that schools had to make arrangements to hold concerts on other days.

The St. David’s Day parade at Kidwelly had to be cancelled due to bad weather.

Children from Schools across Carmarthenshire attended a St. David’s Day concert at the St. Elli Shopping Centre on Tuesday (Mar 3).

Ysgol Gymraeg Brynsierfel managed to celebrate with children attending school in traditional Welsh costumes and the obligatory Welsh rugby jerseys complete with daffodils and leeks.

Schoolchildren across Carmarthenshire also made drawings, paintings and models of castles and well known landmarks in Wales along with images of St. David himself.
