Winter Wonderland Windows worthy of prizes

THE Annual Llanelli Window Display competition got underway towards the end of November when small and large stores in the town centre began decorating their frontage with a Christmas theme. One could hardly fail to notice the sudden arrival of Christmas as numerous snow people, Christmas trees, Santas, reindeer, baubles and lights appeared throughout the town.

Llanelli Online accompanied the judges on their window tour and we were mightily impressed. The judging panel was made up of the Mayor of Llanelli Cllr Jeff Edmunds, President of the Llanelli Chamber of Trade and Commerce David Darkin, Andrew Stephens, Manager of the St Elli Shopping Centre, Ymlaen Llanelli BID Manager Mandy Jenkins and Leslie Richards,  Manager of the Nationwide Bank.
