William has been homeless. He is now in a relationship and in a home with his partner. He has also found God and spends his time volunteering to help others. His outlook is quite simple. “He who has two coats let him give to him who has none.” Llanelli has numerous empty buildings. Many of the old schools, churches and chapels were paid for by the community. They now appear to have been claimed and put on the market. The YMCA building is empty and rotting. The YWCA building is empty and rotting. The church on the corner of Cowell Street is empty. William’s outlook is quite simple and if followed and championed by those who are in a position to do something about the plight of the poor, the downtrodden and the afflicted Llanelli would be a better place for all.
