Ty Elwyn fire – Two in court charged with ‘intent to endanger life’

Two people are due to appear at Llanelli Magistrate’s Court today, Wednesday (Nov 15) in relation to an incident at Ty Elwyn earlier this week. In a statement Dyfed-Powys Police said: “As a result of the investigation in relation to a fire that is believed to have been started deliberately on November 14 at the rear of Ty Elwyn, Dyfed Powys police has charged two females.

“Alisha Dann, aged 18, and a 16-year-old girl have been charged with intent to endanger life.

“Both will be appearing at Llanelli Magistrates’ Courts this morning (Wednesday, November 15).

“The fire caused extensive damage and widespread localised power loss and disruption. The community is thanked for its assistance to this enquiry and their patience during the disruption caused.”
