HUNDREDS of people turned up at the annual Ty Bryngwyn Daffodil Fayre at the Thomas Arms Hotel today, Thursday, (Mar 9). The annual event which involves lots of tea, cakes, stalls, a raffle and an auction was also attended by the Mayor of Llanelli Bill Thomas, Mr and Mrs Clive Thomas, Chairman of the Rural Council Steven Donoghue and County Councillor Tegwen Devichand. Local businessman and chairman of the fund raising committee David Craddock thanked everyone for attending and gave a brief talk about the importance of the work of Ty Bryngwyn. He said that the community was extremely generous in supporting the charity month after month and year after year. The money raised will go towards purchasing equipment for Ty Bryngwyn. Organiser Audrey said that after twenty years of putting on the event the support has not wained. She said that she was very grateful to the Thomas Arms Hotel for providing the venue.
