Tornados Final Farewell Flypast at Pembrey

Tornados Final Farewell Flypast at Pembrey

A group of RAF Tornados bade farewell to RAF Pembrey today, Wednesday (Feb 20) as part of a UK wide flypast over RAF bases before the plane officially goes out of service at the end of March.

The Tornado first came into service in 1979 and saw action in conflicts across the globe. A large crowd turned out at the Pembrey site to watch the flypast and capture some historic photographs.

Peter Tully was there to take these wonderful photos for Llanelli Online.
