WITH only a few weeks left until the Anglesey Half Marathon, Jones Crisps are on the hunt to find the fastest ‘Jones’ male and female runner.
On the 3rd March, the fastest male and female ‘Jones’ will be awarded a special cash prize of £100.00 each.
“We wanted to celebrate the surname ‘Jones’ said Geraint Hughes from Jones Crisps, and what better way than to find the fastest male and female runner during the Jones crisps Anglesey Half Marathon.
“There will be plenty of Joneses running in this Half Marathon, so being the fastest will be some achievement”.
“We will be handing out a bag of Jones crisps to every runner that crosses the finish line”, added Geraint Hughes, “as crisps are an excellent way for runners to stock up after a hard run, and helps their energy and salt levels after their exertion”.
The Half Marathon which is organised by Always Aim High Events is a 13.1 mile race that starts on the world famous Menai Suspension Bridge, then follows the coast road to Beaumaris Castle looping back to the finish in Menai Bridge.
