THE Lloyds Bank mobile banking service will no longer be able to use the car park at the Pontarddulais Tesco store. Although no formal announcement had been made anywhere by the giant retailer rumours were rife on social media today, Wednesday (Jul 4).
Pontarddulais like many other small towns across Wales has suffered with the loss of its banks. The mobile service fulfilled a role for the community.
The local store spokesperson at Tesco Pontarddulais said that a they had had a visit from head office today and that they had been told that the mobile bank would no longer be allowed in the car park.
