Dyfed-Powys Police arrested a female in her teens on suspicion of two assaults and a public order offence during the evening of Monday, November 13.
Officers were called to the St Elli shopping centre in Llanelli following a report of a disturbance by a group of young people.
Section 35 dispersal notices were issued to clear the area, and one person was arrested and later released under investigation. An officer was assaulted during the incident.
On leaving the scene, it was discovered that a police vehicle parked in the Asda car park had been damaged. Anyone who witnessed this is asked to call 101.
