LLANELLI firm Manhattan Marketing has provided hundreds of items of kit and over printed kits from ski jackets and saloupettes to T-shirts and kit bags for the entire GB squad, comprising 31 skiers, ice skaters and coaches. GB squad Head of Delegation, Mrs Alexis Williams, from Llandeilo and a former deputy head teacher at Heol Goffa, helped put the business the way of the Llanelli company.
Managing director Steve Jacobs of the Thomas Street firm said: “It is remarkable business for a small Llanelli company to win a GB national opportunity like this. “We have done many Welsh national kit orders and individual international orders. But this is the first GB squad order in more than 30 years of business. “We have a long working association with
Heol Goffa School and are so proud of what Ruth and Tyler have achieved together with Alex being chosen head of delegation and bring the business our way. “The twins are not only flying the flag for Wales but for Manhattan Marketing too.” The British squad is sponsored by founding partners Coke Cola and the National Grid and supported by Lions Clubs, THONE4 and Pentland
