A number of lorries are reported to have jacknifed blocking sections of the M4 motorway today, Friday (Mar 2). Terence Owens from Llanelli is on stop in his lorry just outside Newport. He said “I’ve been here for nearly an hour and it doesn’t look like it’s getting any better.”
A number of vehicles are on standstill and snow ploughs are unable to get through. There were problems on the M4 in both directions from J22 Pilning/Second Severn Crossing to J37 Pyle due to adverse weather conditions.
