SOUTH Wales Police in Bridgend are investigating an assault which happened on Wyndham Street in the town centre at around 2.00am this morning, Thursday, (Dec 5).
A 23 year old man from Aberkenfig has been taken to the Princess of Wales Hospital where he is being treated from a head injury. At this stage the injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Two men, one aged 22 from Newcastle upon Tyne and the other aged 28 from Plymouth, have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently assisting the police with enquires.
