Singer & Songwriter Beccy Owen performs for RNLI Station Appeal
AT a recent event held at the Shoreline, singer and songwriter Beccy Owen performed with all proceeds raised going towards the Burry Port RNLI New Lifeboat Station Appeal.
She performed a number of her own songs.
Beccy’s family live in Burry Port and during one of her home visits she took some time out to help raise £460 for the appeal.
The cheque was presented to Crew Chairman Lee Fox by Mrs Kay Owen (Beccy’s mother).
Speaking after the function Lee said: ”She is an amazing talent. Performing her own work she had the audience mesmerised with her quality performance. It was a fantastic evening.”
This takes the Burry Port RNLI New Lifeboat Station Appeal total to £5,500.
