Peter Rees is a familiar figure around Llanelli and some may just whizz past this slight but spritely man without a thought. He happens to be the oldest surviving Scarlets and Welsh International rugby union player. At 93-years-of-age Peter is a font of rugby knowledge. Little do many know that it was Peter who was in part responsible for attracting the late great Ray Gravell to Stradey Park.
Peter recalls his memories of Ray as he speaks to Robert Lloyd.
