SCARLETS continue their lead at the top of conference B in the Guinness Pro14 by dismantling fellow Welsh region Dragons 47 – 13.
The home side were in control for most of the match. Leading 19 – 6 at half-time.
The reigning champions crossed seven times, with James Davies, Tom Prydie, Dan Jones, Aled Davies, Aaron Shingler, Will Boyde and Rhys Jones all scoring.
Outside half Rhys Patchell was in fine form all match, having a part in most of the tries, also adding two conversions after Dan Jones departure, who himself kicked four conversions.
Substitute scrum half Sarel Pretorius scored a late consolation try for the inexperienced and injury hit Dragons side.

The win takes Wayne Pivac’s side to five derby victories over Welsh opposition this season, with one more against the Dragons at Judgment Day in April.
However for Bernard Jackman’s side, it was a 30th defeat on the road, they are 6th in conference B, only above Struggling South African’s Southern Kings.
