SCARLETS recovered from their previous two defeats with a comfortable 34 – 10 bonus-point victory over Ulster at Parc Y Scarlets.
In what was an important Pro14 encounter, it was the visitors who struck first in just the 2nd minute with Stuart McCloskey crossing for a try. John Cooney converted.
A Dan Jones penalty in the 9th minute was all the home side just muster in the first half.
However the Scarlets stepped it up in the second half, with Ioan Nicholas diving in at the corner for his sides first try of the evening, Jones converted.
Cooney scored a penalty in the 50th minute to bring the scores level, but the final quarter was all Scarlets as they run in three further tries through Ryan Conbeer, Paul Asquith and Tadgh Beirne, with Dan Jones on point with the boot all match.
Final score: Scarlets 34 – 10 Ulster
