Christmas has come early for little Tia Hughes, the girl who raised the alarm at the Granby Close fire. Tia and her family were treated to a lovely lunch by the staff at Red10 at Eastgate.
Tia has been showered with offers following her quick thinking dash to get help, which resulted in the dramatic rescue of three people who were trapped in the flats.
Today the Mayor of Llanelli Cllr Jeff Edmunds and Deputy Mayor Louvain Roberts joined the family at the restaurant as the manager Stephanie Thomas officially thanked Tia.
The family enjoyed a meal of burgers, gammon, chips, ice cream and pancakes all washed down with glasses of soft drinks.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing.
