With yet another call on us to do our democratic duty, why not use the late Spring bank Holiday weekend to clear your head before heading for the polls Llanelli Festival of Walks takes place over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend and is a fantastic opportunity to get out into our glorious countryside and enjoy the landscape with fresh air, fitness, friendship and fun. Spring is the perfect time to get out and get walking. There is also a lot of fun to be had on walking adventures Organised and led by Llanelli Ramblers there are a total of 15 walks over the 3 day festival, so with 5 to choose from each day, most tastes and levels of fitness are catered for. Stride over hills, hug the coastline, wander through woodland and get closer to nature. We are so fortunate to live in this corner of the world with such a variety of landscapes to explore. Being fit and active is an ambition held by most people and recent research has shown that regular walking is one of the best ways to raise and maintain a reasonable level of fitness and wellbeing. There we have it. Let this year’s festival be your pathway to a new, fulfilling hobby or simply a memorable day out with the family. Festival Starts on Saturday 27th May and concludes on Monday 29th May.
