THE RAF were in Burry Port today, Tuesday (Apr 10). At least the RAF electricians from RAF St Athan were as part of a fact finding mission for a project they are undertaking in the area.
The lycra clad trainees were not in state of the art aircraft but straddling rather natty mountain bikes.
Having stayed at local B & B’s they were setting off this morning to visit historical attractions in the area including quite fittingly the Amelia Earhart memorial at the harbour.
Speaking to Llanelli Online they all agreed that it really is a beautiful part of the world to visit.
They even had good things to say abut Llanelli Online having seen our coverage of the West Wales Raiders online and being fans of rugby league.
