Dyfed-Powys Police have provided an update on the incident in priory Street Carmarthen today, Saturday (Jan 20).
In a statement released a few minutes ago they said: “Police attended Priory Street in Carmarthen this morning following concerns for a man’s wellbeing.
“Sadly, he died a short while later. Our thoughts are with his family.
“Officers are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the death, but at present it is not believed to be a suspicious incident.
“If anyone has any information that could help the enquiry, please call 101.
“Priory Street has now been reopened.”
