Dyfed-Powys Police have charged a man in connection with the transporting of class A drugs. In a statement the force said:
“A Merseyside man has tonight (October 3) been charged in connection to a class A drug haul thought to be worth £75,000 on the streets.
Dyfed-Powys Police officers stopped a car travelling between Brecon and Merthyr Tydfil on Wednesday, October 2, when they found more than half a kilo of drugs.
The package contained over 300 deals of heroin, 400 of crack cocaine, and another large wrap of heroin.
Officers suspect the drugs were destined for Llanelli.
Daniel Jason Kenwright-Harbourne, aged 24, of Mersey Street, St Helens, Merseyside, has been charged with possession with intention to supply class A drugs.
He remains in police custody and is due to appear at Llanelli Magistrates Court on Friday, October 4.”
