DYFED-Powys Police can confirm that the pedestrian who sadly died in a collision on the A48 is 35-year-old Michael Watkins, from the Cross Hands area.
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the collision, that happened around 1.22am on Sunday, February 24, on the eastbound carriageway of the A48 before the Cwmgwili junction in Carmarthenshire.
The incident involved a heavy goods vehicle and a pedestrian, who passed away at scene.
