Police appeal for witnesses to collision on A487

37-year-old Karl Kraus died in the collision

Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the A487 at Penparc, Cardigan, at around 12pm on Sunday, (Jun 18).

Police can confirm that the man who tragically died in the collision is 37-year-old Karl Kraus from Cardigan. Mr Kraus’s wife, Suzi Kraus, has paid tribute to him on behalf of their family. She said: “It is with great sadness we announce that Karl passed away yesterday. He leaves behind his wife Suzi, sons Ollie and Liam, and step children Chloe and Kai. The family are thankful for all your well wishes, however would appreciate if their privacy was respected at this very sad and difficult time.”

Officers are now appealing for witnesses to the collision, which involved a black Yamaha motorcycle, travelling in the direction of Aberaeron and a silver Volkswagen Golf, travelling in the direction of Cardigan.
