Police in Llanelli are appealing for witnesses who may have information about a minor assault which happened near Nandos, Eastgate shopping centre, Llanelli, between 4.30pm and 4.50pm today, Sunday (March 25).
In a statement issued earlier today Dyfed-Powys Police said: “In particular, officers are keen to speak to a girl aged around 13 years, who they think witnessed the incident.
“If anyone thinks they know of this girl, or has any information which could help the investigation, they are urged to contact Llanelli Joint Investigation Unit, by calling 101.
“A 58-year-old man, from the Llanelli area, is currently in police custody in connection with this incident.”
