DYFED-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on the A4068 at Gwilym Road, Rhosamman, sometime before 3.25am on Sunday (8 April). A man is in hospital is critical condition as a result. The car, a blue Vauxhall Tigra, is believed to have left the Cefnbrynbrain area shortly before the collision.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, failing to report a collision, possession of an offensive weapon, and driving without insurance. He has since been released under investigation while police carry out further enquiries.
