AHEAD of the mouth watering European quarter-final clash between the Scarlets and La Rochelle this Friday (Mar 30) at Parc Y Scarlets, Police have given advice to residents in Pemberton and Llwynhendy.
Dyfed-Powys Police have advised that if residents encounter any car parking obstructions in the build up to the game that they phone the non-emergency number 101 for assistance.
Scarlets issued a statement saying: “Please always remember to be considerate of our neighbours around the stadium. If you are visiting Parc y Scarlets, please utilise one of the many parking or transport options we provide and do no park in residential areas around the stadium.
“We would also like to remind all customers not to park on grass verges around the stadium as this causes damage to the surrounding environment and also blocks routes utilised by the emergency services.
“Vehicles parked illegally may be clamped. Thank you for your understanding.”
Scarlets have also announced that there will be a step up in security for this Friday’s match. With an expected crowd of over 15,000, fans have been advised to arrive early.
