ON Saturday (Nov 4) the annual concert of Loud Applause Productions – ‘A Night with the Stars’ takes place at Theatre Ffwrnes in Llanelli. It features a plethora of highly talented musicians and choirs from across South Wales which includes up and coming singers from LARS (Loud Applause Rising Stars).
This highly popular evening features two renowned choirs. Pontarddulais Male Choir and Cor Ysgol Gerdd Ceredigion. Performing alongside is international tenor Trystan Llyr Griffiths and one of the country’s most exciting young violinist Charlie Lovell-Jones. The LARS singers performing are aged between 14 and 18 years-old and include Osian Clarke, Lauren Fisher, Callum Howells, Daisy Owens, Jack Owens, Sydney Richards and Neve Summers.
This year there is a special tribute to the Fallen heroes of the World Wars. The host is the ever popular Gary Owen.
