At a Full Council Meeting on Thursday (Mar 23) 2017, councillors unanimously approved plans to create additional community facilities including a function room and Town Council offices at the Princess Gwenllian Centre, Hillfield Villas, Kidwelly. The work will be undertaken in partnership with the Princess Gwenllian Centre committee.
The Mayor of Kidwelly, Cllr Stephen John said
“In response to many years of planning and consultation in the community, I am pleased that Kidwelly Town Council has been able to make this investment in the community by using local skills and local labour.”
“This phase of the Princess Gwenllian Centre development will provide residents and the wider locality with numerous social and recreational opportunities.”
Full plans will be available on the Kidwelly Town Council website and on display at the Princess Gwenllian Centre.
