Nia Griffith MP has said that she is unhappy about the lack of consultation regarding the decision by Carmarthenshire County Council to issue a planning notice to demolish Crown Buildings. The buildings include ground floor retail space two floors of accommodation space above the shops. At least two local businessmen have questioned the reasoning behind demolishing the buildings. Nia Griffith MP said she also had concerns over the expense involves at the detriment of the rest of the town centre businesses.
