DYFED-Powys Police, Carmarthenshire County Council and a Forensic Security System Group have teamed up to make Granby Close in Morfa a safer place.

The aim of the scheme is to make the area safer for the community and prevent crime which helps reduce the demand on policing in the area.

Pavements have been ‘forensically marked’ to warn potential criminals that committing a crime in the area would result in them being caught.

A new forensics security system (AIM) by Avocet Hardware has been introduced to properties in the area as well as a general tidy up of overgrown trees and an abandoned caravan.
