THE emergency services have attended what has been described as a major road traffic collision at a junction near Corporation Avenue and Heol Goffa this evening, Friday (Nov 17). A bystander told Llanelli Online that at least seven people had been taken to hospital for treatment. This has not been confirmed by the emergency services. It is understood that the incident happened at approximately 7:45 pm this evening. We will bring you updates as and when they come in.
Monday(Nov 20): Dyfed-Powys Police have issued the following statement: “Dyfed-Powys Police was called to a two-vehicle collision on Corporation Avenue in Llanelli at just past 6pm on Friday, November 17. One person was taken to hospital and the vehicles were recovered at around 8pm.”
