LLANELLI MP Nia Griffith has joined campaigners in London to support and commit to an end to AIDS by 2030.
After attending the All Party Parliamentary Group event on HIV and AIDS in central London she said: “I have just been at the All Party Parliamentary Group meeting about stamping out AIDs. It is really important that we remember that AIDS is still a problem Worldwide and we need to put in the resources not just in the U.K. but also in other countries to stamp out AIDS and to make sure that young people everywhere are aware of the issues.”
Events are set to take place across Wales today, Friday (Dec 1) on World AIDS Day.
