Busy junction: The M4 slip road at Hendy

Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for witnesses to the A4138 collision in Hendy, which happened in the early hours of the morning today, Wednesday (Sep 21).

Two police officers were taken to hospital following the crash but were discharged later in the day.

An investigation into the road traffic collision which involved an unmarked police vehicle and a lorry is ongoing.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: ”The articulated lorry was joining the A4138 from the slip road while the unmarked police vehicle, a white BMW, was travelling on the A4138 towards Hendy. The lorry had been travelling on the M4 from the Swansea direction.

Two police officers were taken to hospital with minor injuries and have since been discharged. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
