The headteacher of Ffwrness School in Llanelli has been suspended.

Despite requests to the County Council, the school and a governor, no information regarding the reason for suspension has been forthcoming.

The council’s director of education, Gareth Morgans said: “School staffing is a matter for the Governing Body, however, we can confirm the headteacher of Ysgol Ffwrnes has been suspended. It is not appropriate to comment further.”
