A mini football team has been given a brand new kit to get their season underway courtesy of GI Joe’s Personal Training in Llanelli.
Coach Chris Williams told Llanelli Online: “We are a new team, formed in September and its a really exciting time for Pwll AFC as a club, its been many years since we have had a mini section. This age group currently aged 4 and 5 will be our next years Under 6 team.
“All the children have developed greatly since September, going from picking up the ball constantly to being able to dribble competently. Where it is always nice to see the children develop the most important thing at this stage is for them to have fun and seeing their smiles during games at training is very rewarding.
“I would just like to say thank you to Security Solutions Wales for sponsoring our bibs and a massive thank you to Joe and Kayleigh of GI Joe Personal Training for sponsoring our kit. Without the generosity of companies like these, a mini section can be hard to fund.
“We are looking to set up other age groups to go with our under 6s and 12s next season and it early stages yet but potentially 3 other age groups to be confirmed, if there is anyone that is interested in coaching an age group please get in touch with the club.”
