Further appeal for witnesses following fatal RTC

SOUTH Wales Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 19:05 on Sunday 27th January 2019 on the M4 off-slip at junction 45, Ynysforgan, Swansea.

A silver coloured Mercedes SLK 200 was involved in the collision, and 54 year old driver Anthony David Lewis of Port Mead, Swansea, died at the scene of the single-vehicle collision.

The motorway was closed between junction 46 and 45 for approximately 6 hours to allow for investigation work to be carried out.

This is continuing to be investigated, and South Wales Police would like to speak with any witnesses of the collision, anyone who may have dash cam footage of the incident, or anyone who witnessed the manner of driving of the Mercedes SLK 200 prior to the collision.
