FURNACE United RFC ran out winners in their latest home fixture against 2nd in the WRU National League table and in form Tonna RFC by six points. It was close but no cigar for the hopeful Neath based club who had travelled down the M4 looking to take a scalp.
Furnace United RFC had other ideas and kept the points ticking over in what was a very entertaining game. 28-22 entertaining game. The next game is an away game against Pontardawe RFC who sit a mere one step below them in the WRU League Table. It should be a great game weather permitting. Furnace will be hoping to inch up the league table before their final two games of the year away to Cwmtwrch RFC on December 16th and home to Cefeneithin RFC on December 30th.
