YOU may have heard of the Funky Chicken, you may even have sung along to the song but have you ever seen the Funky Chicken doing the funky chicken dance?
You would have had you been at Trallwm Sports and Social Club on Friday (Apr 6) at the Annual Easter Party celebrations.
Children from the local community had a fun filled evening which involved a visit from the Easter Bunny and his naughty friends.
Children danced the night away as Brainwaves disco blasted the children’s favourite songs. Aunty Lynne kept the children amused with her never ending supply of party games.
John Evans the Chairman of Llanelli Rural Council was in attendance and judged the Easter Bonnet Parade. He said that it was a hard decision choosing a winner as all the bonnets were very creative and looked amazing.
Morrison’s very kindly donated the Easter eggs which were very much appreciated by the children.
Cllr Jason Hart aid that he would like to thank Laura, the Community Champion in Morrison’s in Llanelli for organising the eggs.
Another special mention he said, had to go to the Llwynhendy and Pemberton Forum for borrowing the costumes and helping to organise the event.
