FIVE more people have been sentenced in connection with Operation Ulysses, which has targeted an organised criminal gang police claim are responsible for an increase in the number of heroin related deaths predominantly in the Llanelli area.
The five were sentenced to jail terms totalling 46 years 5 months, at Swansea Crown Court today, Monday (Mar 12).
Ryan Mercer – 5 years 4 months
Robert Williams – 7 years 5 months
Natalie Wilson – 5 years 8 months
Jonathan Thorne – 16 years
Frances Powell – 12 years
