THE emergency services are dealing with a large fire at the old workhouse on Brewery Road Carmarthen.
The fire service received the call at 16:53 today, Friday, (Mar 2).
Two appliances from Carmarthen are in attendance along with one from Kidwelly and Tumble. An aerial appliance from Sketty is also being used.
The derelict building is being described as being ‘well alight’.
Road closures have been put in place.
