The family of the murdered St Clears woman Fiona Scourfield have paid tribute to her and have asked for privacy to grieve in the aftermath of an event, which has shocked the communities of Laugharne and St Clears.
In a statement issued by the family today, Tuesday (Mar 13) the family said:
“We are distraught by our loss. Fiona Scourfield, aged 54 from Laugharne will be missed by us all.
“Fiona was a loving and caring person, who will be remembered for her kindness, especially her kindness to animals.
“As an active member of the German Shepherd rescue Fiona spent her time rescuing and rehoming dogs. Fiona was a talented ceramicist.
“We would like to thank everyone for their support at this horrific time. It has meant so much to the whole family.
“We would now like time to grieve and would ask to be given privacy to do so. “
