Social Care disruptions
In house day services for older people, learning disability, physical disability and people with mental health needs are closed today and tomorrow because of the snow forecast. Service users are being informed.
It is planned that domiciliary care will run as normal and where access becomes difficult for any reason service users will be prioritised. The service will be operating 4×4 vehicles driven by trained carers and volunteer staff.
Arrangements are in place to convey key/essential staff to residential homes where needed.
Theatre cancellations
Woman of Flowers performance – Theatr Pena have decided it would be wise to cancel the show that was scheduled for Lyric, Carmarthen March 1 at 7.30pm. You have the right to obtain a refund. Call our box office via 0845 226 3510.
Max Boyce has decided it would be wise to postpone the concert that was scheduled for Lyric, Carmarthen, March 2 at 7.30pm. The concert has now been rescheduled for March 23 at 7.30pm.
