Emergency Services attend multiple-vehicle RTC on Thomas Street
EMERGENCY Services responded to a Road Traffic Collision involving multiple vehicles on Thomas Street, Llanelli today, Wednesday (Aug 1).
Witnesses reported that the incident happened at approximately 10am and involved a Fiat 500L, Renault Captur, Vauxhall Corsa and a Vauxhall Insignia.
The Ambulance Service, Fire Service and Dyfed-Powys Police officers were in attendance.
One person was taken to Morriston Hospital in Swansea.
The road was temporary closed off and local diversions were put in place whilst the Emergency Services dealt with the incident.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is at the scene of a four car RTC at Thomas Street, Llanelli, near the Thomas Arms pub.
“The road is currently closed while officers investigate.”
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today, Wednesday (Aug 1) at approximately 10am to reports of a multi vehicle road traffic collision on Thomas Street in Llanelli.
“We responded with one rapid response vehicle and one emergency ambulance, where one patient was taken to Morriston Hospital, Swansea.”
