Emergency services attend house fire on Station Road

UPDATE: A spokesperson for MAWWFRS said: “On Saturday, 23/06/2018 at 07:37pm, crews from Llanelli, Gorseinon and Pontyates were called to a property fire in Station Road, Llanelli.

“The fire was confined to the second floor, of a four-storey building, and extinguished by firefighters using eight breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, four thermal imaging cameras and a safety jet.

“The Fire Service left the incident at 09:45pm.

“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”

EMERGENCY services attended a fire at a flat in Llanelli this evening, Saturday (June 23).

At least two fire crews and a number of police have been attending a fire on Station Road.

The incident at a property opposite the Home Bargains store is believed to have started at around 8:30pm this evening.

The road has been closed temporarily and emergency services are still at the scene.

There are no reports of anyone having been injured.
