Emergency services attend house fire in Llwynhendy

THE emergency services attended a house fire at Bro Wen in Llwynhendy on Sunday (Mar 18).

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service issued the following statement:

“On Sunday, 18/03/2018 at 04:15pm, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to assist the Police at an incident at Bro Wen, Llanelli.

“The incident involved a fire which was extinguished prior to the Fire Service being alerted.

“The Fire Service left the incident at 06:28pm.”

Dyfed-Powys Police also attended the incident and they issued the following statement:

“Police received a call at approximately 3.45pm on Sunday March 17th reporting that damage had been caused by fire at the back door and kitchen of a property in Bro Wen Llanelli.

“Following enquiries made it is believed that the fire was accidental. No further police action at this time.”

An appeal has been made on social media for help for the family.
