ON Friday (Feb 11) Wales celebrated Welsh Language Music Day which celebrates all types of music using the Welsh language.
Free music events were held all over the country with the aim of increasing it’s audience and is all part of a long-term drive to get one million people speaking and using Welsh before 2050.
In Llanelli Gary Ryland, better known as Ragsy, performed at the Killkenny Cat. He played a mixture of songs in both English and in Welsh.
Ragsy’s music, including his new single Codi i Gael Aeris, is available here: http://www.ragsymusic.com/
