COMMUNITY spirit is alive and well in Burry Port with residents digging deep to help fund much needed equipment, which could help save lives. Burry Port and Pembrey Carnival Committee have been busy raising funds to purchase defibrillators for the Community and they were not disappointed with the generosity of the local community.
Carl Williams an electrician from Iwec installed the defibrillators free of charge. One of the defibrillators is located outside Burry Port Police Station and the other is located outside the pottery shop in Pembrey square.
The other defibrillators were given to the team of first responders.
County councillor Amanda Fox said that she wished to thank everyone who donated to this much needed cause.
