THE Llanelli charity CYCA has started their 40th Anniversary Fundraising year by announcing a new Partnership. CYCA will be 40 years old in 2020 and they have set a target of raising £40,000 before 12th September 2020.
Tracy Pike MBE CEO of CYCA met with Directors of DPA Law, Llanelli who presented CYCA with the first donation to the #40Kfor40Years campaign.
Tracy said “We are a Local charity in the true sense of the word. These monthly donations form DPA Law over the period of our Anniversary Year, will allow us to respond immediately to the urgent needs of local children and families.
Kathryn Devonald- Davies, Director of DPA Law said:
“We’re delighted that we’ve officially partnered with the Carmarthenshire Youth and Children’s Association. They’re all about setting people up to succeed, and so they are a natural fit as our charity partner. DPA Law has strong roots in Llanelli and we love that every penny raised by CYCA is used to nurture and support young people in the community.”
DPA Law is the first business to respond to CYCA’s challenge of raising £40,000 for 40 years. They have now approached over 100 local businesses with request for donations no matter how small. To help the charity to help the most vulnerable families in Carmarthenshire with local donations going to local families contact CYCA.
