Clwb Golff raise £30k for Cancer Research Wales

MACHYNYS Clwb Golff held a Cancer Research Wales (CRW) Pink Golf Day on Saturday (Jul 27). The club raised a total of £3,000 for CRW which has totalled over the last nine years of hosting this day around £30,000 for the charity.


Speaking to Llanelli Online organiser Andrew Windsor said: “My mother Mavis Anne Anderson who is a survivor of cancer. She started raising funds for CRW after my stepfather died of lung Cancer.

“This was the last one for my mother and myself. We have now handed over the organising of the event to a member of Machynys who has gladly agreed to keep it going.”
