The Chairperson of the SOSPPAN Group Cllr Louvain Roberts has called on the Hywel Dda University Health Board to extend the consultation period on the proposals for hospitals in West Wales.
Cllr Roberts said that she had made the request because of what she claims has been a shortage of questionaires.
She said: “There were very few available at tat start of Consultation and they were not available as hard copies for 14 days and not all residents are on IT.
“There was a sparse availability of questionnaires throughout consultation to the Public and Sosppan.
“We asked for a 1000 last week and were only given 360.
“All supplies were exhausted and HDUHB said they would have to order more but July 12th is the deadline for consultation.
“As Chair of Sosppan I have sent a email to the CEO to extend period for 3 weeks.”
